Why the Llama?

The llama isn’t just adorable — it symbolizes calm, strength, and connection. As social animals, llamas and alpacas thrive in herds, reflecting our brand’s values of togetherness and community.

High in the Andes Mountains, they roam breathtaking landscapes of rocky peaks, earthy tones, and crisp skies — directly inspiring our palette. At Le Halo, we embrace natural beige tones echoing their wool and colours reflecting their untouched environment.

Alpaca fleece, one of the world’s most luxurious natural fibres, is warm, soft, hypoallergenic, and sustainable. This harmony of elegance and earthiness is at the core of what we do.

Eat Icon

What do Llamas eat?

Llamas are herbivores, and they love a diet of grasses, hay, and shrubs. They're actually really efficient eaters — their stomachs have three compartments, which help them digest tough plant material better than many other animals.

Spit Icon

Why do Llamas spit?

Llamas don’t spit at humans unless they’re really upset — most of the time, they’re just resolving llama drama with each other. It’s their way of saying, “Back off,” or establishing dominance in the herd. Their spit isn’t just saliva — it can include partially digested food from their stomach.
